Apex Legends Global Series have a US$100,000 prize pool for each Online Tournament


As part of Electronic Art’s “Stay & Play” campaign that aims to stop the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic by having people stay at home, the Apex Legends Global Series (ALGS) is now shifting its events to Online Tournaments where players will compete for US$100,000 and ALGS points.
EA is also adding more broadcast coverage of upcoming Online Tournaments, so fans can have a better viewing experience.
With the PGL Bucharest Primer Event #2 postponed due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, Respawn Entertainment has decided to add more Online Tournaments to the calendar, with each boasting a US$100,000 prize pools and ALGS points on the line.
The ALGS Online Tournament #3 will be the first competition to have the US$100,000 prize pool and ALGS points, and will take place on April 4-6. Meanwhile, Online Tournaments #4, #5, and #6 will be taking place on April 18-20, May 2-4, and May 30 to June 1 respectively.

Fans will be able to watch the finals of each Online Tournament live on YouTube and on Twitch, and teams can track their progress on the ALGS Points Leaderboard here. Players can register to the Online Tournaments here.
